poolchemistrycalc is run by one person who got tired of guessing at the side of a pool. Every figure on this site is computed, in the open, from the measurements and readings you type in: the volume from your own dimensions, the dose from the strength printed on the product you are holding.

The target ranges come from state pool codes and from manufacturers' own product pages, and every page says which one and when it was read. Where nothing has been read that states a figure, the site says so and publishes nothing in its place.

This site sells nothing, takes no lead, and recommends no brand. It is not a pool service, a chemist, or a health authority.
